I have to admit, it took me awhile to appreciate these. I think it started about the time I could use silverware to feed myself. 🙂 We always went back for seconds.

Grandma Sliwa’s Raisin Bread was prepared shortly before our arrival on a visit and there seemed to be an endless supply available. The smells coming out of the kitchen were amazing.

You can’t visit a polish household without being inundated with a supply of perogies. Finding the perfect garnish is also a task (bacon, sour cream, etc.)
