It’s official, I completed my journey with Insitu. I signed out today on April 1. It was quite a ride. Together we changed the world and save some lives. It doesn’t get any better than that.
Last night we had a retirement party. Many friends and colleagues came and we celebrated the transition. There were some awesome gifts. I plan to post pictures on this site in the new future.
There was one April 1 issue. Our retirement funds were depleted (about $40M) and people were asking, where is our trustee? It’s our former CEO and he is gone. In fact, he is heading to the British Virgin Islands. Do we have extradition rights there?
Turns out it was April Fools. Today our funds were extracted and transferred to our new 401(k) provider and we are between accounts for about a week. So it all made sense.
I am looking forward to being more active in Sliwa.com in coming months.
