Our dear friend from Europe came to visit us. We stayed with her in Paris a year ago, and it’s only fair that we host her back in the US. She used to travel to the US frequently before she retired and even lived in the DC area for more than a year. She flew into Phoenix and stayed with us in Fountain Hills for a couple of days. We hosted some friends over for a party one night.
We then chartered a plane to take us up to our Genoa, NV home. We toured around a bit having lunch at Lake Tahoe and several other good meals including one at Daniel’s in Genoa.
A highlight of her visit was we toured around Lake Tahoe and Yosemite area in the Vision Jet. She particularly liked visiting with our pups.
We hope to visit her soon in Vienna or Kitzbühel.
During Gertrud’s visit, a family of javelinas came by.
