Arcus Jet and Night Wave Flight

I joined a partnership on an Arcus Jet two-place sailplane.  The jet is powerful enough to allow take-offs (the jet in my JS-3 is only powerful enough to extend flights).  The sailplane is also equipped to fly at night with NVGs (night vision goggles).  My first flight was surreal.  We took off in late afternoon and flew into the night.  The wave lift was reliable and we went back and forth between Reno and Yosemite.
