Susan Larson visited bringing along her 7-month-old puppy, Obie. Obie is a Flat-Coated Retriever. Susan wanted to see if we could get Obie comfortable swimming in our pool and we accomplished our goal. The first day we dragged her onto the little 18″ deep beach. She was scared and fought it. But once she was in, she started to play. She watched Pixie and Beckett play in the deep end and was starting to think it might be fun as well. She ventured near the step and kind of dropped in and swam back.
The next day we wondered if she would be ready for the big-time. Here is the video of what happened when we tossed a ball into the deep end. She’s a natural.
